- Start Internet Explorer.
- On the Tool menu, click Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab, and then click Custom level.
- In the Settings box, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section, and under Display mixed content choose from the following options:
Disable, will not display non-secure items.
Enable, will always display non-secure items without asking
Prompt, will prompt you when a webpage is using non-secure content

Would disabling still protect you from non-secure content? How does disable differ from prompt, other than being prompted by IE 9? A reply is appreciated. Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteThis is only a warning that you’re on an SSL-secured (https protocol) page that is attempting to load non-SSL (http protocol) content.. If this message is bothering you, then you can disabled the prompt message. Disabled will remove the message prompt, while enable will display the message prompt.
